According to Odaily Planet Daily, Spot On Chain pointed out that the US government has been approved to sell 69,370 BTC (about 6.5 billion US dollars) seized from the dark web Silk Road.
Note that the previous sale did not directly affect the price because it was done over the counter, but market panics often cause prices to temporarily drop.
Currently, the U.S. government holds approximately 197,000 BTC ($18.6 billion).
