According to ChainCatcher, a new study from the University of Pennsylvania shows that 41% of Republicans own cryptocurrencies, compared to 32% of Democrats.
The two-year study, which surveyed more than 22,000 Americans, showed Republicans were more confident in cryptocurrencies, especially in the Southeast, where states like Texas are leading the way in cryptocurrency adoption.
In contrast, interest was lower in the Northeast and Pacific Northwest.
