On January 7, U.S. prosecutors estimated that Do Kwon may have caused more than one million victims worldwide after the collapse of the Terra ecosystem, BlockBeats reported.

On January 6, Daniel Gitner, acting U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York, filed documents with the court notifying Kwon’s victims of their rights in their criminal cases.

The government will set up a website to publicize the process of Kwon's case because other methods of guaranteeing the rights of victims are "impractical."

Gitner said it was difficult to quantify the exact number of victims due to the sheer volume of trades and the fact that many of them were conducted on foreign exchanges, but estimated it to be in the hundreds of thousands and could total more than a million.
