A "bagholder", in financial jargon, refers to an investor who holds stocks or assets that have significantly lost value.
These investors usually:
- Hold on to their assets despite their continued decline in value;
- Expect a recovery in price;
- Are often hesitant to sell for fear of losing their investments.
"Bagholder" is also known as: reluctant investor, bagholder and investment loser.
