Canadian rapper and music giant Drake joined the list of high-profile figures who were victims of an X-rated account hack on Saturday night, as his account was logged and used to popularize a fake Solana currency. It was based on a token called $ANITA, created from mainstream rapper Drake and his cartoon character Anita Max Wynn.
False Claims Link Memecoin to Stake Partnership
The compromised posts provided false information that ā$ANITAā was created with Stake, a cryptocurrency gambling site backed by Drake. Additionally, the meme coinās name correlated with Drakeās āAnita Max Wynn Tour,ā during which the artist would return to Australia and New Zealand for the first time since 2017. This connection likely gave them additional legitimacy, rallying fans and traders to purchase the coin.
