About Cortex (CTXC)

Cortex is a decentralized and autonomous artificial intelligence system that leverages blockchain technology. According to Cortex, users can infer these models through smart contracts on the Cortex blockchain. In addition, Cortex implements a machine learning platform where users can post tasks and submit decentralized applications for artificial intelligence. The core feature of the Cortex blockchain is the Cortex Virtual Machine (CVM); the CVM is ported from the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) and is backward-compatible with the EVM while adding an artificial intelligence inference layer.

The Cortex public chain includes artificial intelligence algorithms that support smart contracts, reportedly allowing developers to use Cortex to add AI to their smart contracts. Moreover, Cortex states that it also creates incentives for collaboration, allowing anyone to submit and optimize models in Cortex, while model contributors can also be purportedly rewarded.

Cortex enables machine learning researchers worldwide to upload the corresponding trained data models to the Cortex Intelligent Inference Framework storage layer. Other people who want to use the AI models can then do so through the modules and, in return, pay the providers of those modules. When a user starts a transaction through a contract, the entire node must execute the smart contract code.

The $CTXC cryptocurrency powers the Cortex network. Cortex price is updated and live-tracked on Binance in real-time.
