About Aleph.im (ALEPH)
Aleph is an off-chain Peer-to-Peer network with a decentralized database for file storage and computing and a decentralized identity framework. Through cross-chain connectivity and client libraries, Aleph enables DApps to access trusted off-chain data or computation in an allegedly secure manner.
Aleph allows developers to create DApps without the need for centralized components, such as services rendered by AWS or Google Cloud for data storage and business logic. Aleph provides a decentralized network for DApps to run on.
Aleph caters to decentralized finance developers by enabling cross-chain composability that allows a project to be built on any of Aleph's supported chains, giving network participants access to liquidity from said chains.
As of now, Aleph has the ability to support a limited number of DApps, including NFT Backup. This particular DApp utilizes Aleph's data storage functions, allowing users to securely back up their NFTs, ensuring that both the content and metadata remain unchanged.
Aleph network provides tools that developers can use to build decentralized exchanges, certify and manage documents, implement KYC metadata, host websites, and build censorship-resistant social media DApps.
Aleph.im is backed by Stratos technologies, Rarestone, and other venture capital firms. Partners include Ubisoft, Serum, Synaps, Phantasma Chain, and other notable organizations.
