Binance Announces Delisting of Margin Trading Pairs
In a move to improve its offerings, Binance has announced the delisting of some margin trading pairs for several cryptocurrencies against Bitcoin. These include Band Protocol, Gitcoin, Highstreet, Perpetual Protocol, STP, and AVA. The delisting will begin on December 4, 2024, with isolated margin borrowing discontinued, with the full delisting to take place on December 11, 2024.
Despite this decision, some coins such as Highstreet and Perpetual Protocol have seen a price increase, while others such as AVA and Band Protocol have seen a slight increase. This decision comes at a time when the cryptocurrency market is experiencing a recovery, which has helped some assets stabilize.
Binance hopes to improve the trading environment and make it more sustainable and secure through this move. With the short-term outlook for some currencies still positive, users will need to switch to other trading pairs after the expected delisting
