What is the Liquidation Alert Function?
Liquidation Alert is a notification tool available for Portfolio Margin users to better control risk. When this feature is enabled, you will receive a notification when your account’s UniMMR falls below the liquidation alert ratio you’ve set.
The Liquidation Alert function is currently only available when trading on Portfolio Margin mode, and not available on default mode.
How to enable Liquidation Alert?
Access 1.
From the Futures Trading page, click the settings icon. Select [Liquidation Alert] under the ‘Advanced Tool’ section.
Access 2.
From the Margin Trading page, click the settings icon. Select [Liquidation Alert] under the ‘Advanced Tool’ section.
Access 3.
Log in to your Binance account and hover over the wallet icon. Click [Portfolio Margin] and click the [Liquidation Alert] link in the ‘Margin Balance’ section.
You will see the current liquidation alert ratio, with the default ratio being 1.5. Enter a new ratio to customize the liquidation alert ratio. Click [Confirm].
Notes:
The adjustable range for Risk Ratio is 1.2 < The liquidation ratio ≤ 2
Ensure you use maximum 2 decimals when setting the ratio (e.g., 1.55)
When you click [Rest], a second confirmation pop-up will appear. Click [Confirm] to reset the alert ratio to the default (1.5), or [Cancel] to close the window.
What is the Auto Top-Up Function?
The Auto Top-Up feature for Portfolio Margin accounts enables users to automatically replenish their account balance in order to maintain a consistent risk level. When Auto Top-Up is enabled, the system will transfer selected Spot assets to top up the Portfolio Margin account any time the UniMMR drops to the liquidation alert ratio.
The asset you choose for Auto Top-Up must be available as collateral. Check the collateral ratios for each asset on this Trading Rules page.
Please note, the collateral rate of the chosen asset is not considered when calculating the top-up amount. Using Auto Top-Up can reduce your liquidation risk, but may increase your liquidation loss when the market fluctuates violently.
How to enable Auto Top-Up?
Log in to your Binance account and hover over the wallet icon and click [Portfolio Margin]. Click [Auto Top Up].
Select [Add Coins] - [Confirm]. You can add up to 3 coins.
Notes:
Ensure that the coins chosen are available as collateral. Check the rates on this Trading Rules page.
The system will use the chosen assets in your Spot Wallet to top up.
The top-up will replenish from your alert threshold to reach above UniMMR 2.0.
Should your top-up asset balance run out before replenishing the UniMMR to be above 2.0, you will receive an email notification.
