U.S. authorities have dismantled the 911 S5 botnet, which consisted of 19 million infected devices used for various cybercrimes. The botnet, allegedly managed by Chinese national Yunhe Wang, offered residential proxy services to criminals. Chainalysis tracked $169 million in Bitcoin linked to the network. The operation, involving law enforcement from multiple countries, resulted in Wang's arrest in Singapore and the seizure of $30 million in assets. The U.S. Treasury has sanctioned 49 cryptocurrency addresses associated with the botnet. #CyberCrime #Botnet #Bitcoin #Chainalysis
