Iş Bankası has taken a significant leap in artificial intelligence with the development of IşGPT, a large language model tailored for the Turkish language. Created by the bank's Artificial Intelligence Department, IşGPT is set to transform various sectors, including legislation, foreign trade, performance management, and content structuring.

IşGPT boasts advanced capabilities such as text summarization, content-based question answering, information classification, Named Entity Recognition (NER), and translation. Impressively, it accurately answers 91% of questions, promising to streamline customer service processes and boost employee productivity.

Training IşGPT was no small feat; the model was built on over 1.5 million documents from diverse fields like finance, health, law, education, and technology, processing a staggering 60 billion tokens over 1200 hours. This extensive training ensures İşGPT’s proficiency and reliability.

Sabri Gökmenler, Iş Bankası Deputy General Manager, highlighted that IşGPT not only enhances speed and accuracy in banking transactions but also significantly elevates both customer and employee experiences. Moreover, he underscored the bank's commitment to data security, ensuring that IşGPT operates within stringent data protection standards.
