An unsuspecting user unintentionally sent 1,155 WBTC to a hacker's wallet after falling victim to "address poisoning
This resulted in a $68 million loss of #Bitcoin.
Address poisoning is a technique that deceives the victim by sending a legitimate transaction to the wrong wallet address by imitating the first and last six characters of the actual wallet address.
In this case, the exploiter carried out a 0.05 ETH transaction before receiving 1,155 WBTC from the victim.
