According to PANews, Blast founder Pacman announced on the X platform that the Blast Foundation team will expand its support to directly incentivize local assets. These changes encompass two main aspects:

Firstly, a new cultural category has been introduced. Projects within this category, such as meme coins and NFT collections, will now directly receive Gold incentives. This marks a significant shift in how cultural projects are supported and incentivized within the Blast ecosystem.

Secondly, there is a change in asset incentives. Previously, projects were unable to allocate Gold to local assets. Now, after review by the Blast Foundation, projects can distribute Gold to these assets. This adjustment aims to provide more flexibility and support for local asset development.

Additionally, Pacman mentioned that despite Pacmoon’s decision to migrate to Solana before this distribution was announced, each project must make decisions that best suit their needs, and this choice is respected. The allocation reserved for Pacmoon will be distributed to previous holders based on snapshots taken two weeks before and two weeks after the Token Generation Event (TGE).
