According to BlockBeats, a recent survey conducted by Ernst & Young (EY) reveals that 94% of institutional investors and 83% of retail investors consider themselves long-term believers in digital assets. The survey indicates a growing interest among both groups to increase their allocation to digital assets and related products. Over the past year, there has been notable progress globally, with registered assets like exchange-traded products gaining approval, legislative measures being formulated and sometimes passed, and an overall increase in allocations and interest in tokenized assets. Among retail investors, 72% view digital assets as a core component of their overall wealth strategy. These investors are looking to enhance their current wealth and estate planning, tax and trust services, and advisory services to include cryptocurrencies and digital assets.
