According to BlockBeats, r/DataDAO, the first data DAO, announced on July 8th that it has officially discontinued token minting and relinquished contract ownership. The related resolution has been executed on the chain.
Established on April 4th of this year, r/DataDAO encouraged users to export their data from the Reddit platform and upload it to the community database. The community would then vote on renting the data to AI companies for profit sharing. Users could also earn governance tokens RDAT based on their data contributions.
