According to Foresight News, the Hummingbird client of Ethereum L2 blockchain LightLink has been launched on the Celestia mainnet. The client will publish L2 data to Celestia DA and verify it, only sending the block header to Ethereum. LightLink has stated that using Celestia as its data availability layer will reduce costs compared to Ethereum, allowing it to save costs for end users in the form of lower transaction fees.
