According to Odaily, the Bitcoin Layer2 network Stacks has successfully completed a significant network bandwidth expansion, increasing capacity by 500%. Core developers have announced plans to implement additional optimizations in 2025. Previously, on October 29, the Nakamoto upgrade was successfully launched, introducing 'Fast Blocks' and a 'Bitcoin Finality' mechanism to enhance transaction speed. Following the Nakamoto upgrade, Stacks block production will operate independently from Bitcoin block production, allowing user transactions to be confirmed within seconds.
