MicroStrategy has made headlines again with its latest Bitcoin acquisition. The business intelligence firm purchased 2,138 BTC for $209 million between Dec. 23 and Dec. 29, bringing its total holdings to a staggering 194,180 BTC. This move was funded by selling 592,987 shares. Despite a decrease in the amount of Bitcoin bought compared to November, MicroStrategy's Bitcoin yield reached an impressive 74.1% year-to-date. The company is also seeking to increase its authorized shares to allow for more flexibility in future Bitcoin purchases. Co-founder Michael Saylor remains committed to buying Bitcoin, regardless of its price.
