--- š¢ *U.S. Court of Appeals Announces Schedule for Ripple XRP Case* š¢ The U.S. Court of Appeals has revealed new dates for the ongoing Ripple XRP lawsuit. According to the notice of appeal, the opening brief will be submitted by March 6th next year, while Ripple Labs, XRP II, and CEO Brad Garlinghouse will respond to the appellant's main brief by April 7th, 2025. In the meantime, the SEC is preparing its main brief before Chairman Gary Gensler steps down. The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals has confirmed the receipt of the notice of appeal and assigned a case number for Ripple's lawsuit. The court has requested that any motions for relief be filed separately. *Key Dates:* - *Opening Brief:* March 6th, 2025 - *Ripple Response:* April 7th, 2025 In the District Court ruling, Judge Phyllis Hamilton approved the proposal to amend the order concerning the judgment and stay in the XRP lawsuit. Both parties submitted a proposed order to the court, agreeing that there is no reason to delay the judgment. The focus now shifts to the lawsuit Ripple has filed against the SEC in the Second Circuit Court of Appeals. Ripple's executives and the crypto community are confident that the lawsuit will be dismissed or withdrawn. However, concerns have been raised about Gary Gensler creating issues as he steps down on January 20th, five days after the main brief deadline. Stay tuned for more updates on this case! #XRP
