Former Delphi Digital finance VP, Dylan Meissner, has been sentenced to four years in prison for embezzling nearly $4.5 million from the crypto research firm. Connecticut District Court Judge Michael P. Shea also ordered Meissner to repay over $4.6 million, including an unpaid loan. Meissner, who had access to Delphi's crypto wallets, admitted to wire fraud as part of a plea deal. His sentence is below the prosecution's recommendation of 6.5 to 8 years. Meissner's defense cited his struggles with substance abuse, but prosecutors argued his actions were deliberate and calculated.
