BlockBeats reported on December 18 that a new Emerson College poll, as per Cointelegraph, revealed that approximately 20% of American voters have invested, traded, or used cryptocurrencies. The survey, conducted among 1,000 registered voters between December 11 and 13, found that nearly 40% of respondents who used cryptocurrencies also used them for purchases.
Spencer Kimball, the poll’s executive director, stated that “cryptocurrency users are younger and have a larger minority base, highlighting cryptocurrencies as a growing and diverse political support group.” The survey also showed that respondents under the age of 40 make up the largest proportion of cryptocurrency users, with nearly one-third having used cryptocurrencies.
Additionally, 57% of cryptocurrency users have a favorable view of Donald Trump.
