BlockBeats reported on December 18 that Cointelegraph revealed a new Emerson College poll, which showed that around 20% of American voters have invested, traded, or used cryptocurrencies. The survey, conducted among 1,000 registered voters between December 11 and December 13, found that approximately 40% of respondents who used cryptocurrencies also used them for purchases.
Spencer Kimball, the poll’s executive director, stated that cryptocurrency users are younger and have a larger minority base, indicating that cryptocurrencies are an expanding and diverse political support group. 57% of cryptocurrency users have a positive view of Donald Trump. The survey also showed that respondents under the age of 40 make up the majority of cryptocurrency users, with nearly one-third having used cryptocurrencies.
