Anchorage Digital Receives BitLicense in New York State, U.S.
According to The Block, cryptocurrency custody and banking firm Anchorage Digital has been granted a BitLicense by the New York State Department of Financial Services (NYDFS). BitLicense is a legal framework for companies operating cryptocurrency-related businesses in New York State. With this approval, Anchorage Digital will be able to offer secure and efficient cryptocurrency transactions to institutions in New York State, with plans to be fully functional by 2025.
