The CFTC has charged Washington State pastor Francier Obando Pinillo with running a $5.9M fraudulent crypto scheme. Using his position, Pinillo allegedly lured over 1,500 church members into a Ponzi-like scam under the 'Solanofi' name, promising up to 34.9% monthly returns with a non-existent trading platform.

Victims received fake account statements and referral bonuses to recruit more investors. The CFTC seeks restitution and a trading ban for Pinillo.
