Successful projects such as XSGD underscores the market demand for stablecoins that facilitate faster and cheaper transactions. Despite regulatory challenges and competition from USD-pegged stablecoins, we expect increased VC interest and investment in projects supporting the development and issuance of local stablecoins. These projects will likely be related to high-throughput #blockchains, multi-chain wallets, and global payment applications.
