In Dubai, United Arab Emirates, on November 28, 2024, Bybit bbSOL, a liquid staking token, launched a $1.2 million gaming campaign in celebration of the exchange’s sixth anniversary. The six-week campaign, which lasts until January 6, 2025, allows users to interact with their bbSOL tokens and build and transform them.
Since its launch in September, the token has accumulated $100 million in total locked value. Users can complete tasks to earn Feeding Bottles, which contribute to their bbSOL development.
They can also collect accessories to customize their tokens and earn additional contest entries. Community achievements unlock increases to the prize pool, and a daily leaderboard challenge offers fresh opportunities to earn rewards every 24 hours. Bybit introduced bbSOL in partnership with Solana as the blockchain’s first exchange-backed liquid staking token.
The product allows users to earn staking rewards while maintaining the ability to trade their assets. The exchange, which serves 50 million users globally, ranks as the world’s second-largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume.
