The market is really tough for small to mid crypto projects to gain mindshare on X.
The feed is dominated by memecoins, SOL vs ETH debates, big crypto wins, and
Large cap protocols still manage to break through the noise as they have large token holder base.
But new projects struggle: TGEs often get barely noticed or discussed. Zircuit's ZRC is an example.
Things were much better during the points-for-airdrop meta: airdrop farmers were actively looking for the next big protocol to enter early.
Now, they have a choice:
- Wait for the noise to subside
- Wait for the meta to change and time the major announcements then
- Try something crazy (like Likecoin resorting to shitposting)
Sure, you might say "just build and users will come."
But it's really tough for founders to build while burning cash, especially when few seem to care.
