BEGINNER’S GUIDE TO BINANCE LITE | How to Buy, Sell, and Convert
In this article, we’ll guide you through a tutorial on Binance Lite, a simplified version of the Binance app designed for beginners. We'll cover how to buy, sell, and convert cryptocurrencies using Binance Lite.
Accessing Binance Lite
You can easily access Binance Lite within the Binance app—there’s no need to download anything extra. If you don’t see it, ensure your app is up to date. To switch to Binance Lite, tap the Binance logo in the top left corner of the app, then select Binance Lite at the bottom of the menu to switch to the simplified interface.
Features of Binance Lite
Binance Lite provides a more user-friendly interface compared to Binance Pro, focusing on the most popular cryptocurrencies. It offers sorting options based on market cap, price, 24-hour changes, and popularity, along with customizable candlestick charts for viewing price trends.
How to Buy or Sell on Binance Lite
Buying or selling crypto is straightforward on Binance Lite. To buy, simply select the cryptocurrency you want (e.g., Bitcoin), tap BUY, choose the fiat currency, input the amount, and confirm the payment method. Your purchased crypto will appear in your wallet. Selling is just as easy—tap SELL in the top right corner of the coin page.
Using Binance Convert
The Binance Convert feature allows you to easily trade between different cryptocurrencies. To access it, tap the trade symbol, then select Convert. Choose the cryptocurrencies you want to exchange (e.g., converting BNB to USDT), enter the amount, and preview the conversion before proceeding. The Market option fills your order instantly at the current market price. Alternatively, you can use the Limit option to set a specific price for buying or selling.
Final Thoughts
If you’re an experienced trader, you may prefer the Pro version for its additional features and tools. However, if you’re new to crypto and want a simple, easy-to-use platform, Binance Lite is a great starting point. You can always switch between Lite and Pro versions, so feel free to explore both to see which one suits you best.
