Recently, Magic Labs announced Newton, a novel chain unification network that will ultimately manage wallet connections to allow for integration at AggLayer of chains. Built-in conjunction with @Polygon Labs, Newton utilizes #Polygon ( $POL ) CDK to integrate with any EVM-compatible chain through #AggLayer , a single cross-chain payment gateway.
The Newton network was designed to overcome the problem, which arises on blockchain platforms, of having multiple isolated individual networks by facilitating the accessibility of users, applications and liquidity, based on the crypto networks. Specifically, with Newton, developers can construct a chain-abstracted smart wallet within each connected EVM chain and build and deploy cross-chain applications resulting from consolidated liquidity and wallet connections. In terms of the accessibility of resources and convenient developer tools, Magic Labs is aimed at making blockchain interactions as smooth as Web2.
Things, like chain-abstracted smart wallets, gas subsidies, and free wallets on Newton networks, imply that the developers and the users can get more involved intuitively and at a lower cost with blockchain applications. Newton’s perspective of cross-chain compatibility of Polkadot and Kusama also forms the basis for developing cross-chain applications and deployment through a single CLI call, thus making such arrangements more flexible and easy to implement.
As a technological partner to AggLayer’s vision of integrating user, liquidity, and execution planes, Newton is seen as a counterpart to HTTP in a post-fragmentation Web3 process. One of the initiatives of the network is to match Web3 with Web2 to thereby ensure that mass adoption of blockchains is realizable.
In this context, #SocialMining elements are engaged as active participants provide knowledge contribution to Newton’s growth and support for development as well as aware of updates. This decentralised community support extends Newton’s mission and opens up new ways for user engagement in an integrated Web3 space.
