Telegram’s popular game, Hamster Kombat, has seen a sharp decline in users due to various bans and competitors. It had 300 million users in August, but as of November 5th, only 41 million active monthly players remained, a 86% drop. Meanwhile, the Telegram Mini App Paws has gained 20.5 million users in its first eight days, surpassing Hamster Kombat’s growth trajectory.

Hamster Kombat’s decline is not only reflected in its user base, but also in the price of the HMSTR token, which has fallen nearly 70% from its all-time high of $0.01 to around $0.0022. This decline is consistent with lower network engagement and fewer daily active users. While Hamster Kombat has faced some setbacks, other Telegram games have seen steady declines in activity alongside the declining value of their tokens.

For example, Dogs (DOGS) token airdrop fell from $0.0014 to $0.0004 between August and November 4, and its AAR graph shows a steady decline in activity. Hamster Kombat’s development team has previously stated that their future plans include payment system integration, launching new games, and integrating non-fungible tokens (NFT) as in-game assets.

Meanwhile, the Paws Mini App has gained 10 million wallets in the first two days alone and has a million followers on its X account.
