**Bitcoin Mining Firm Denies Allegations in Swan Bitcoin Lawsuit**

Proton Management, a Bitcoin mining firm, has denied allegations from Swan Bitcoin, which accused Proton of stealing its mining business. In a motion to dismiss filed on Sept. 30, Proton argued that Swan's claims are "fatally flawed," asserting Swan doesn't have a mining business to begin with.

Proton stated that 2040 Energy, the business in question, is a separate entity funded by stablecoin issuer Tether. They also refuted claims of using Swan's proprietary information or trade secrets, suggesting the information belongs to 2040 Energy.

Swan's lawsuit, filed on Sept. 25, accuses former employees of orchestrating a mass resignation to join Proton, which they claim was due to Swan's mismanagement. Swan seeks a permanent injunction and damages.

Proton argues the California court lacks jurisdiction, as it is incorporated in the British Virgin Islands. Swan has yet to respond to these developments.
