In the latest update by Polymarket, the betting odds for the U.S. Presidential Election show a race between Kamala  and Donald Trump. Harris is leading with 50% of the bets, totaling $126.5 million, while Trump closely follows with 49%, representing around $142.8 million in bets. 

On the other hand, Vice President Kamala Harris, who stepped in as the Democratic candidate after Joe Biden withdrew from the race, has remained relatively quiet about her position on cryptocurrency. While Harris is considered one of the more tech-friendly Democrats, her stance on digital assets remains unclear, leaving investors uncertain about the future of crypto regulation under her potential presidency.

Trump-Harris Race Tightens as Memecoins Drop Post-Debate

As reported by Cryptonewsland earlier, data from the NYT shows Kamala Harris and Donald Trump are in a closely contested race across key battleground states. In Wisconsin, Harris leads with 50% to Trump’s 47%. Michigan and Pennsylvania show Harris slightly ahead at 49%, compared to Trump’s 47% and 48%, respectively. Nevada, Georgia, and North Carolina display a deadlock, with both candidates tied at 48%. Arizona mirrors this trend, with each candidate receiving 48%.

Following the recent debate, memecoins associated with Donald Trump and Kamala Harris experienced notable declines. Trump's coins saw the most losses, with MAGA$MAGA dropping by 21.2% and TRUMP$TRUMP falling by 10%. Kamala Harris's associated coin, KAMA$KAMA, also faced a decline, though less severe at 4.4%.
