This will be the best way to explain it.
Let's say you found a good phone/device that
you love and it's not easily found. So, you
place an order to get it right?
This phone๐ฑ/device then travels from a big,
faraway factory to your house.
Now, imagine thereโs a book (ledger) that
writes down everything about your phone
or device's journey down to you, like:
- Where it was made
- Who carried it
- When it arrived!
This book called ledger also can't be changed
or erased by anyone. Cool, right?๐
Here's the interesting part...
This book (or ledger) is called Blockchain!
The purpose of Blockchain in this example
is thatโฆ
It helps you and other people make sure that
the phone you want to buy (or food, wig, bag
or clothes) gets to your house safely.
Before, it was hard to know if something got
lost or if someone made a mistake along the
way. But..
With the invention of Blockchain, everything
is written down clearly so everyone knows
the truth and can see the truth with their
naked eyes (transparency).
You can also call it your personal helper that
watches over your goods or deliveries just to
ensure that everything is done right.
So next time you get a package, remember that,
Blockchain might be helping you
get it to you safely!
Let's just stick with this idea of Blockchain,
I will continue the series soon
by God's grace.๐
