Crypto Analyst Predicts Bitcoin Price Reaching $200,000 Using Historical Data

For two years, Bitcoin has been projected to reach six figures, but it has yet to do so. Experts forecast a crypto bull run, therefore hopes for a 6-figure Bitcoin price have returned. One crypto specialist predicts when Bitcoin will reach $200,000 using historical evidence.

The crypto expert exhibited the Power Law Cycle Cloud in a video connected to the X article to highlight how high BTC has soared and fallen in the previous three bull and bear cycles. The crypto expert predicts Bitcoin's price growth using the same pattern.

The crypto researcher predicts that Bitcoin will reach six figures and peak around $200,000. This is projected in 2025, after BTC's four-year bull cycle.

The pattern anticipates both price highs and lows in the bear market after the bull. It forecasts a 57.5% drop of BTC from $200,000 to $85,000 in 2026.

The crypto expert addressed fears that Bitcoin may diverge from current trend. He notes that Bitcoin proponent Michael Saylor claimed “all your models will be broken!” The analyst notes that Saylor's BTC model matches the Power Law.

The analyst adds, “I'll watch for an invalidation of the channel. As someone whose BTC value has dropped 80% twice, I want more than ‘this time will be different’.”

As for Bitcoin departing from the power law and exponential decay trend, the crypto expert said, “We don’t have to like this, but we need to respect it.” He continued, “We can hope it will change while staying aware of this 13-year trend.”
