🔻Distribution Start Date:

Bitstamp is set to start distributing Bitcoin (BTC) and Bitcoin Cash (BCH) to Mt. Gox creditors on July 25, 2024.

🔻Recovery of Digital Assets:

This move is part of the recovery process of digital assets lost during the 2014 Mt. Gox hack, which resulted in the loss of approximately 740,000 Bitcoin.

🔻Eligible Creditors:

Around 20,000 former Mt. Gox users are eligible to receive over $9 billion worth of Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, and Ethereum as part of the restitution process.

🔻Security Checks:

Recipients will have full control of their assets within a week of receipt, following the completion of security checks.

🔻UK Customers:
