• TON Foundation and Animoca Brands’ Mocaverse partner to boost TON ecosystem adoption.

  • $20 million reserve in MOCA Coin and Toncoin to fund development and user incentives.

  • Collaboration aims to reach over 1.6 billion users and foster cross-ecosystem growth.

The TON Foundation and Animoca Brands’ Mocaverse, a leading Web3 gaming platform, have announced a strategic partnership aimed at accelerating the growth and adoption of their respective ecosystems.

The collaboration includes the establishment of a $20 million reserve in MOCA Coin and Toncoin, which will be used to incentivize developers and users to engage with the TON platform.

In anticipation of greater use of blockchain applications, TON Foundation President Steve Yun emphasized the strategic connection between Animoca Brands’ focus on digital property rights and TON’s goals.

The agreement unites a formidable user base by combining Moca Network’s 700 million addressable users with TON’s 900 million users. With this combination, both platforms’ prospective user bases could total over 1.6 billion, greatly enhancing their reach and power. To promote cross-ecosystem growth, Moca Network positions itself as a “network of networks,” with TON Blockchain as the anchor partner.

A council of officials from Mocaverse, MOCA Foundation, and TON Foundation will be formed to oversee this collaboration. This committee will be responsible for cooperation projects and a treasury devoted to the development of ecosystems. The partnership comes with a hefty financial investment, with a $20 million token swap deal in TON and MOCA tokens.

One of the partnership’s main features is its emphasis on user reputation. The alliance will encourage the use of Realm SDK as the primary source of user reputation for all TON Blockchain ecosystem apps. This action will strengthen the network’s legitimacy and confidence, potentially promoting user adoption and engagement.
