According to PANews, ZA Bank has announced its position as the first digital bank in Asia to offer cryptocurrency trading services to retail users. Starting today, the bank's app will allow users to trade Bitcoin and Ethereum using Hong Kong dollars and US dollars.
Hong Kong residents can open an investment account with ZA Bank and, after completing a risk assessment process, begin trading the two cryptocurrencies through the app. The entry fees are set at $70 or HKD 600, with a transaction commission of $1.99 or HKD 15. Additionally, a platform fee of 1.5% of the transaction amount is applied, with a minimum charge of $1.99 or HKD 15 per transaction. However, the bank has announced that until the end of June next year, it will waive the commission fees and reduce the platform fee to 0.8% of the transaction amount.
