About APENFT(NFT)
APENFT is a project that aims to register world-class artwork as Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) on blockchain networks such as Ethereum and TRON as ERC-721 and TRC-721 tokens, respectively.
The ApeNFT Foundation was officially registered in Singapore in March 2021. The chairman of the project, Steve Z. Liu, brings 20 years of experience in international capital markets. The Foundation reports that its core members include art industry experts who have experience in institutions like Christie's and Sotheby's, as well as a team of experienced blockchain engineers. The current price of APENFT (NFT) price is updated live on Binance.
The core mission of APENFT is to become an incubator for NFT art, artists and platforms, further binding the NFT and art worlds together. The APENFT Foundation reportedly seeks to achieve its mission by sponsoring galleries, setting up awards that promote the arts and general actions that a non-crypto art organization would do and partake in.
The project reportedly differs in its use of blockchain technology. APENFT plans on using blockchain's value exchange, collaborative and record-keeping properties to invest in both traditional and digital artwork.
At the time of writing, the APENFT Foundation collected works from world-renowned artists like Pablo Picasso's Femme nue couchée au collier, Andy Warhol's Three Self-Portraits and others. APENFT aims to promote the mass adoption of NFTs by allegedly expanding the use cases of blockchain technology to back real-world and digital artwork.
The APENFT token, NFT, allows token holders to participate in governance of the project, discuss and vote on platform features and the future of the project as it purportedly seeks to expand its utility to Decentralized Finance.
