The Sandbox (SAND), an Ethereum-based metaverse project, announced on August 3rd that it is implementing a Know Your Customer (KYC) verification process for its SAND staking procedures. This step aims to enhance security and compliance by verifying the identity of account holders prior to them participating in staking or receiving rewards. While users who have not undergone KYC verification can still withdraw SAND, only those who have completed the KYC process will be allowed to stake SAND and claim weekly rewards.
