Mishaboar says it's risky to store seed phrases in online password managers like LastPass because they could be hacked.

Instead, Mishaboar suggests keeping seed phrases offline in multiple secure places. If you've stored your seed phrase online before, Mishaboar says you should assume it's not safe and move your Dogecoin to a new wallet right away.

Mishaboar also talked about the challenges of keeping seed phrases secure. Even offline devices can be hacked by malware and send your data once they're back online. He recommends using a Raspberry Pi with no internet connection to type and save your seed phrase on a USB drive. After that, wipe the SD card clean to remove any threats.

It's important to match the level of security with how much cryptocurrency you have, Mishaboar says. Even small amounts can become valuable over time, so it's crucial to keep them safe.

As Dogecoin and other cryptocurrencies become more popular, Mishaboar believes users need to take stronger security measures to protect their investments. Other experts, like Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin, have also warned against cryptocurrency scams.
