The post VanEck’s ETH ETF Listed by DTCC, Awaits SEC Approval appeared first on Coinpedia Fintech News

Amid increased speculation over the imminent approval of an Ethereum ETF, VanEck’s ETF has been listed by the DTCC under the ticker symbol ETHV. A listing on the DTCC is considered a crucial step before final approval from the SEC. VanEck’s ETF is currently designated as inactive on the DTCC website, meaning it cannot be processed until necessary regulatory approvals are granted. VanEck is not the first Ether ETF to be listed, as Franklin Templeton’s spot Ether ETF was listed on the platform a month ago. Notably, crypto lawyer Jake Chervinsky took to X to state that it’s hard to believe the SEC could approve an ETH ETF. He also highlighted crypto’s recent wins in political battles.
