In cooperation with asset manager Fidelity, exchange operator Cboe has resubmitted an application to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (#SEC ) for the purpose of launching a bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF).

The SEC expressed concerns about the clarity and thoroughness of Cboe's initial filing, which Cboe hopes to remedy. Similar worries were previously brought up by the SEC to Nasdaq in relation to a spot bitcoin ETF application made by #BlackRock.

The failure to disclose the cryptocurrency trading platforms that would enter into surveillance-sharing agreements to detect fraud in the bitcoin markets was one of the major problems.

Along with the Fidelity ETF, #Cboe has resubmitted listing requests for the WisdomTree, VanEck, and joint Invesco and Galaxy #bitcoin ETFs.
