According to Odaily, the virtual currency department of the Brooklyn Prosecutor's Office in the United States has announced the seizure of 70 domains used for defrauding the Russian community. The scam involved fake Facebook advertisements, including the use of a deepfake video of Tesla CEO Elon Musk. Over 20 residents of Brooklyn and victims from across the country have collectively lost $5 million due to this scam.
