According to Odaily, the Aave community has initiated a vote on the 'ARFC Proposal to Increase the Bridged USDC Reserve Factor in All Deployments'. The proposal suggests a gradual increase in the reserve factor (RF) of bridged USDC (USDC.e and USDbC) in Aave protocol deployments across networks such as Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon, and Base. It is understood that this method has already been implemented on Polygon v2, Ethereum v2, and Avalanche. The voting is set to conclude around 7:56 PM on June 3, 2024.
