India plans to restrict access to the URLs of nine offshore exchanges, including Binance, subsequent to the issuance of compliance 'show cause' notices.

The Indian government, through its Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), has recently sent compliance show cause notices to nine offshore cryptocurrency exchanges. This action, disclosed on Thursday, was carried out by India's Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU), an entity operating under the nation's Finance Ministry. The nine exchanges affected by these notices include Binance, KuCoin, Huobi, Kraken, Gate.io, Bittrex, Bitstamp, MEXC Global, and Bitfinex. Additionally, the government has initiated steps to block the URLs of these entities for operating illegally in India without adhering to the PMLA regulations.#BTC #Web3Banking $ETH #Launchpool #BinanceSquare $BTC #IndiaOnCrypto
