A nationwide telecommunications outage in Denmark caused disruptions, affecting mobile network services and halting rail traffic. The TDC Net network experienced the outage on November 28 due to technical problems. The exact cause remains unknown. The outage also impacted the 112 emergency call center, potentially preventing calls from being received.

The local emergency service, Hovedstadens Beredskab, dispatched vehicles to the roads to assist in case of urgent help. Denmark’s railway traffic was suspended due to the digital signaling system failure in the western part of the country. The incident occurred just ten days after a Chinese cargo ship sabotaged Finland by cutting Sweden and Lithuania’s Baltic Sea cables.

These incidents contribute to tensions amid conflicts in Eastern Europe.
