In the video titled “120 ICP VS 7 SOLANA | WHAT WILL MAKE YOU MORE IN 2025,” the crypto analyst from YoungWealth explores the potential profitability of investing in Internet Computer (ICP) versus Solana (SOL).

The analyst compares their prices and technologies to choose his preferred option.

Internet Computer (ICP); a “Serious, Serious Coin,”

The analyst begins by explaining that a $1,000 investment in ICP is around 120 ICP tokens at current prices. He acknowledges Solana’s popularity and widespread use but argues that ICP boasts superior technology.

He describes ICP as a “cloudless server,” highlighting its stability and resistance to network crashes, a problem Solana has faced during high usage periods.

ICP has a much smaller market cap of $3.9 billion. This makes it possible for it to have significant growth in a short time. He confidently projects a possible 10x increase for the coin. This would increase its market cap to $40 billion.

He expresses such strong belief in this potential that he states he would “bet his house” on it. Even a more conservative 5x increase, bringing ICP’s market cap to $20 billion, is seen as highly achievable.

The analyst emphasizes that ICP’s lower market cap offers more room for growth compared to Solana. He draws a comparison to Dogecoin, which achieved an $80 billion market cap despite lacking utility, arguing that ICP’s strong technological foundation could enable it to reach similar heights or exceed them.

The crypto analyst clearly favors ICP for future investments. He suggests that if ICP hits an $80 billion market cap, akin to Dogecoin’s all-time high, it would represent substantial profits for current investors.

Should ICP reach $150 billion, a $1,000 investment today could potentially grow to $38,000. He underscores that ICP is not merely a speculative investment; he regards it as a “serious, serious coin,” emphasizing its technological strength.

Solana (SOL) Profitability Concern

Turning to Solana, the analyst notes that a $1,000 investment would yield about 7 Solana tokens at current prices. He acknowledges Solana’s significant market cap of approximately $69 billion and its large user base, particularly in meme creation, with around 40,000 memes generated daily.

However, the analyst points out that Solana has faced stability challenges, particularly during peak usage times, leading to network crashes. This raises concerns about Solana’s reliability compared to ICP’s stability.

Growth Limitations and Profitability Concerns

The analyst mentions what could hinder major growth for Solana. For Solana to see a 10x increase, it would need to reach a market cap of $700 billion. The analyst believes this is highly unlikely in the current cycle.

He believes a 5x increase to $350 billion is possible,. However, this would still yield lower returns compared to ICP’s potential.

He compares Solana’s growth prospects to those of Bitcoin and Ethereum. From this perspective, Solana reaching a $1 trillion market cap is unrealistic.

Ultimately, the analyst concludes that Solana’s high market cap makes it less appealing for exponential growth. He believes turning $1,000 into significant profits through Solana would be a “stressful” endeavor, as its already substantial market cap limits future returns.
