GemSquads Season 6 Launches with Dynamic Voting Power
The sixth season of GemSquads is live, offering users the chance to vote for their favorite trading pairs and influence the distribution of 20,000 STON (~$73,000) in rewards. This season introduces an exciting twist: Dynamic Voting Power. The earlier you vote, the more weight your vote carries, making timing crucial to the outcome.
Here’s how it works: For the first three days, 1 GEMSTON equals 1 vote. After this, the voting power starts to gradually decrease until, by the final second before voting ends, 1 GEMSTON equals 0.5 votes. This means that voting early gives you more influence over which farms will receive rewards.
Reward Breakdown
The total 20,000 STON will be split between the top trading pairs:
- The top 10 trading pairs will share 10,000 STON, proportionally based on votes.
- The other 10,000 STON will be distributed as follows:
- 1st place: 3,500 STON
- 2nd place: 2,000 STON
- 3rd place: 1,000 STON
- All the way down to 200 STON for the 10th place.
How to Participate
To vote, simply head to the event page, select a liquidity pool, and send GEMSTON to the corresponding address. The more GEMSTON you send, the more votes the farm will receive, boosting its chances of making it into the top 10. You can vote for as many farms as you like.
Important Dates
- Voting is open until October 14, 12:00 UTC.
- Farming rewards will begin on October 15, 12:00 UTC.
Be aware that voting is conducted exclusively in GEMSTON, and after the contest ends, the GEMSTON sent to the winning farms’ addresses will be burned. You can purchase GEMSTON on the platform’s DEX or earn it by staking STON.
