Judge Mark Mastroianni just sided with the SEC against Rivetz, the mobile wallet firm accused of selling unregistered securities. The SEC will now work with Rivetz CEO Steven Sprague to finalize the judgment by October 22, 2024. đ
The case stems from Rivetz's $18M ICO back in 2017. Looks like the SEC is on a roll, having also targeted Ripple, Coinbase, and Binance recently. đ
