Banca Sella has launched Bitcoin trading via its Hype app, becoming Italy’s first bank to integrate cryptocurrency directly.
The service, initially for premium clients, will soon expand, allowing all Banca Sella customers to trade Bitcoin securely.
This integration marks a significant shift, potentially influencing other European banks to adopt cryptocurrency trading.
Italy based private bank, Banca Sella which was established in 1841 has recently taken a step into cryptocurrency. The bank has incorporated Bitcoin with the launch of a new trading service.
Historic Move for Italian Banking
This new service will be offered through the banking platform, the Hype mobile application, for convenience to the 1.3 million customers as noted by Quinten via X platform. This service will be available only to the clients of the premium package registered in the company. But that will very shortly be extended to all the customers of the bank.

All these Bitcoin trading services coming together in a traditional banking platform is essential for Italy. Unveiling the gradual integration of Cryptocurrency in the traditional financial economy at large. Meaning that without any link to external BTC exchanges, 3 million users will be able to engage in Bitcoin trading.
